I’m proud to call Montana home—I was raised here, and I’m now raising my own children in Belgrade, where they attend school in the district I serve. I work as a professor of business analytics, where I teach students to think critically, use data effectively, and make informed decisions—skills I also bring to the school board.
As a parent, an educator, and a community member, I care deeply about the success of our students and the strength of our schools. My experience has taught me to listen first, ask thoughtful questions, and always put students at the center of every decision.
Over the past year, I’ve served on the Belgrade School Board with dedication and purpose—attending meetings, asking hard questions, listening to our community, and working to ensure students remain at the heart of every decision.
Beyond the boardroom, I stay actively engaged in our schools and community. I’m a parent in the district, a frequent participant in school events and local initiatives, and a strong advocate for public education. I founded a nonprofit organization, and I regularly collaborate with others in the academic and education space through professional organizations like the American Mathematical Society (AMS).
I believe that meaningful service is rooted in showing up, staying informed, and working with others to build something better—for our students, our teachers, and our future.
